Water is an amazing creation; it is unique in many ways and life cannot exist without it. It has some extraordinary properties. One cannot help but conclude that it was specifically created in order for life to exist. “Have not those who disbelieve known that the heavens and the earth were joined together as one united piece, then we parted them? And we have made from water every living thing. Will they not then believe? (Qur'an 21:30) Water is the usual medium used to cleanse oneself. Water has different types (e.g. Rain water, sea water, melted ice water, etc) and each can be in different states (used, pure, impure, etc) Also referred to as: Maa'un, Miyah, Paani. |

Contrary to popular propaganda women enjoy a special status and honour in Islam.. They have certain heavenly rights which women prior to Islam did not enjoy. Allah Ta'aalaa states in the Qur'an: "And they (women) have rights similar to those (of men) over them in kindness. " (2: 228) "For Muslim men and woman, for believing men and women, for devout men and women, for true men and women, for men and women who are patient and constant, for men and women who humble themselves, for men and women who give in charity, for men and women who fast, for men and women who guard their chastity, and for men and women who engage much in Allah's remembrance. For them has Allah prepared forgiveness and great reward."(surah Ahzaab : 35) See also: Man, Nikah, Parents, Children, Modesty, Hijaab, Rights |

Allah is Lord of the Worlds and Master of the day of Judgement. Allah created and controls the concept of time, the universe and everything within it including the Hereafter which is is permanent and not temporary like the world we live in currently. Man's limited understanding and knowledge cannot comprehend the realm of all Allah's creations; He has facilitated the universe for us so that we may worship Him whilst we live temporarily within this world.
