Allah sent many Prophets to this world, he sent each prophet with the same sole purpose of spreading the religion of Allah |The Almighty. To help his Prophet he sent each and every Prophet with at least one miracle. Hazrat Moosa was given the staff, which would turn into a serpent. Hazrat Esa was given the power to heal the blind and the last prophet who was the leader of all the Prophets, Muhammed was given the miracle of the Quran. This very book known as the most authentic book to mankind in itself mentions many miracles of the Prophet .
In his early age, the incident named as “Splitting of the chest” took place. This incident took place when the Prophet was in the care of Halima in the suburbs of Makkah. The Prophet was playing with his milk brother Hamza in the backyard, when two men all dressed in white came and laid the Prophet on his back and ripped open his chest and took out the heart cleansing it with ZamZam water and put it back inside and sealed his chest again. The two men who came were angels sent by Allah the Almighty and they came so that the Prophet could uphold the burden of the revelations of the Holy Quran and the burden of Prophethood by his heart being cleansed in ZamZam water. This was one of the very first miracles of the Prophet because if someone's heart is taken out of his body then that person does not have much chance of living unless he has a life support machine which they did not have in those days.
Another of the Prophet miracle was the event of Miraj, which is mentioned in Surah Isra. In the year hijri the Prophet was in Makkah and had finished ablution when Hazrat Jibrael came with the Burrak (flying horse) and took him first towards Masjid Al-Aqsa where he prayed two rakat salaat, leading most of the Prophets. He then untied the Barak and went up towards the sky where he first met the Prophet Adam and there after advanced towards the second sky where he met Yahya , the third sky, Yusuf , the fourth was Idrees , the fifth was Haroon , the sixth was Moosa and in the seventh sky, he met Ibrahim . The Prophet was shown Hell and Paradise and then taken towards “Sidratul Muntaha” (a tree which is a point which nobody besides the Prophet Muhammed was allowed to pass). Here the Prophet saw Allah with his very eyes and so salaat was made cumpolsary. He came down and as stopped by Hazrat Moosa and asked what has Allah made cumpolsary on your ‘Ummah' (mankind). The Prophet replied “50 salat, oh Moosa” Hazrat Moosa told the Prophet return and ask Allah to decrease the number because I have tested my Ummah and they could not pray that many Salah. The Prophet returned to Allah a few times and finally it was decreased to five times a day. The Prophet returned to Makkah where he had left for his journey of Miraj. He returned to the water used for ablution and it was still hot which was a sign that this Journey of thousand of miles which had took place in an Instant and faster than the speed of light.
There are many more Miracles mentioned in the Quran and many miracles in the Ahadith.
Ahban bin Ans narrated “I was amongst my sheep. All of a sudden a wolf appeared and caught a sheep. Thereupon I shouted at it at the top of my voice. At this the wolf sat on its tail and addressed me, saying:
“Who will look after the sheep when you are busy and not be able to look after it? How can you forbid me the provision which Allah the Almighty has kept for me?”
Ahban further said, “Clapping with both hands I said with wonder that I have never seen something more wonderful and striking in my whole life”
“But there is something more wonderful than this”, the wolf said with confidence and added, “It is this that the Prophet of Allah is inviting people to Almighty Allah.”
“Hearing this, Ahban went to Allah's Apostle and informing him about his wonderful site, accepting Islam.” (Fatah al Basri)
This was one of many incidents which took place testifying that Muhammed was the true and last messenger of Allah the Almighty. Many a time did trees, stones, animals and other living and non living objects testify to his Prophethood.
The Prophet Muhammed's miracles are etiquettes; habits manners were unique and excellent. This itself was a miracle.
