Most honourable and gracious Muhammad Yakub sahib, may your effulgence become far-reaching.
After the sunnah greeting. Today, 1st Ramadhan I received your letter sent Wednesday. Though I am hard pressed to find any time for mail during Ramadhan, your letters are connected to my personal issues, accordingly I wait for them anxiously. There has been no moon sighted Friday night, hence it is 1st Ramadhan today, Saturday. This useless-one prays assiduously, may Almighty Allah shower this tainted one and you with the abounding blessings of Ramadhan.

home and the train; he penned returning to
I returned yesterday on Thursday 29th Sha’ban. Haji Zamzami is accompanying me in e’tikaaf. I was relieved to receive brother Mahmood’s correspondence; he wrote a pressing letter requesting intercession on his behalf, but failed to expound on it.

Upon completing the letter, I was pleased in receiving an envelope from dearest Abdul-Qadeer wherein he forwarded a copy of a letter from Brother Bilal. May Almighty Allah grant you his auspices with ease. I earnestly pray for ease and success in your trip. Kindly inform Haji Yakub Sahib there is no need to send another copy of Brother Bilal’s letter.
