After the sunnah greeting, after much anticipation, today namely Monday afternoon, your card has arrived. I spent all Saturday waiting for your card. I was pleased to hear the happy news of your safe arrival. You did well in reaching Ghodra by nightfall; as it would have afforded to be more restful for your good wife, I was also pleased that there was no difficulty en route.
I was delighted to learn of the glad tidings pertaining to your wife’s convalescence. I was sad to see her leave as it was my utmost wish that she remain here until Shawwal, and sanction thereafter to providence. But the climate here was not conducive to her and she never really settled; consequently I chose to remain tacit on the issue. Allah willing she is responsive to the doctor’s treatment there. This useless-one prays without contrive or affect that almighty Allah bestows upon you and your wife advancement of both the worlds and keeps you happy and content. Writing on her behalf you express of her sadness at the time of departing and her willingness to return the ticket, if not for the aforementioned reasons I would have personally insisted she stay. She recounts the kindness she felt here, what kind-heartedness is there to speak of with regard to this poor servant, may almighty Allah grant her most deserved reward in lieu of her adoration.
On Saturday I received a registered letter from dearest Yusuf; wherein as expected he somewhat overstress’ when attempting to articulate his love, his daily schedule and when expressing his desire to spend the Holy Month here. There contained within a sealed envelope in your name, owing to a mix up with the mail I was unable to forward it to you and as yet I have been unable to reply to his letter. I will write therein that it will be entrusted to you on your return. I shall also communicate to him with regard to your departure and your return on 16th October.
There was news of Molvi In’aam’s arrival today, but some moments ago there was a telephone call to inform us of the car breaking down, therefore he has postponed it for now.
That is all, Salaam
