Dearest Molvi Yusuf Sahib

After the sunnah greeting, the letter of acknowledgement for your kind gifts was dispatched by air letter on 30^th August, Allah only knows when you will receive it. Presently dearest Muhammad is departing, neither he nor I desire that he take leave but we are under the directive of his father, hence we are obligated.

Something else has come to mind, last night two men and a woman arrived from Mauritius, and against the norm thus far, the woman is conversant with Urdu, while neither of the two gentlemen know Urdu or Gujerati, they are conversant only in English. Since this has transpired on previous occasions it is both mine own and dearest Abdur-Raheem’s view that a copy of the Prescriptive Prayers be sent to you in order that a high-quality translation be carried out and printed, on the condition that it is not too inconvenient. If its problematic then trouble yourself at all, I believe it has already been printed in Pakistan.

Pass on my sunnah greetings to your khaloo sahib, khala sahiba and your esteemed wife. I have forwarded a few copies of the Prescriptive Prayers, on one copy I have written ‘for print’ which I have had read to me. I have intentionally used the ‘paper reserve for children’; you may consider yourself to be a notable of London, nevertheless I still consider you a juvenile.
