Dearest Molvi Yusuf
As a result of your own and dearest Abdur-Raheem’s earlier cards I have been sat here since Saturday trying to envisage your euphoria and thinking how puffed-up with happiness you must be. Subsequently, yesterday on Sunday at 11’o clock I received an urgent telegram you transmitted on Friday, wherein you wrote regarding some difficulties, this has since worried me significantly. Now, if either you or Abdur-Raheem had written an express letter I would have received it on Sunday and this would have saved me from 24 hours of anxiety.
I received Abdur-Raheem’s brief letter contained within Haji Yakub Sahib’s envelope in today’s post, which clarified the reason for the confusion and eased my concerns. Ever since yesterday I have been worried, being conscious of the clothes episode I was concerned that nothing had happened upon your arrival there. Now, I don’t know when you will find the time to write me following your arrival there, however, Abdur-Raheem’s letter certainly gave me cause for concern, that perhaps you were in trouble upon arriving there. Communicate my greetings to your khaloo Sahib and Khala Sahiba and if possible to your betrothed.
That is all, Salaam
Hazrat Sheikh-ul-Hadith Sahib
