Volume 1 letter 41
From: Hazrat Sheikh-ul-Hadith Sahib (May Allah enlighten his resting place)
To: Khala of Hazrat Moulana Yusuf Motala Sahib
Date: 17th Safar 1387/26 th May 1967
After the sunnah greeting, it has been two or three days since dearest Molvi Abdur-Raheem, Yusuf, and Abdul-Aziz apprised me of dearest Abdur-Raheem's wife and her ill health, this caused me some concern and sadness. I exhorted him numerous times in the last few days to visit her. First, he is reluctant because of the difficult journey, and second, it has only been a few days since his arrival here. Nonetheless, today he has finally acceded to my prompting. Someone was sent to the station to make a reservation; on his return, he relayed to me that no seat was available prior to 13 th June; hence, he is somewhat incapacitated.
I have heard reports of congestion in the trains. We receive notification of the imminent arrival of visitors, and then learn they were unable to travel, attributable to the unavailability of seats. I believe a seat reservation for the 13th or 14th should be made at this time. I am communicating this in writing in order to relieve any anxiety you may have. Communicate my sunnah greetings to her, and console her on my behalf. Kindly acquaint me with the good news of her convalescence via Abdur-Raheem and Yusuf.
That is all. Salaam
Hazrat Sheikh-ul-Hadith Sahib
