Convey salutations and blessings at the Holy Mausoleum
Dearest and most Honourable Respected Molvi Yusuf
After the sunnah greeting, mutual felicitations are extended. I have expressed the particulars of my illness to Hazrat in my communications to him, kindly avail yourself. I was very disappointed with the unsuccessful visa application, may Almighty Allah ameliorate the situation. May God make the application successful thereby allowing me join you and benefit from a short sojourn in the holy city of medina, and fulfil Hazrat’s aspiration.
It is three or four days since I arrived in Varethi. The masjid is far closer, within walking distance and I can recuperate better here. In Naroli, there is always the inevitable convergence of visitors and because there is no one to host them I am obliged to converse and be sociable. In contrast, there are few visitors here, if someone does visit then brother Muhammad Ali converses with them, thereby giving me time to rest. I intend to return in a day or two.
If the two gentlemen and Moulana Hashim Sahib are present, kindly communicate my sunnah greetings and that I am desirous of their supplications. Convey my sunnah greetings to Molvi Ismail along with my congratulations also enjoin him for some sweetmeats. Pass on my sunnah greetings to Molvi Abdul–Hafeez, Sufi Iqbal Sahib, Khala Ji, Brother Abul–Hasan, Qadhi Ji and all my friends and entreat them to supplicate on my behalf.
That is all. Salaam
The lowest of creatures
Abdur–Raheem Surati
Present my most humble salutations and blessings at the Holy Mausoleum. Impart our sunnah greetings and request Hazrat to supplicate on behalf of Laliya and Brother Muhammad Ali.
