Volume 1 Letter 156
From: Moulana Abdur–Raheem Motala Sahib (May his shadow be lengthened)
To: Hazrat Moulana Yusuf Motala Sahib (May his lofty shadow be lengthened)
Date: Jamadi–Uthani 1389/September 1969
I humbly request that you present my salutations and blessings at the Holy Mausoleum, along with my petitions.
Write what? I had considered the Forty Hadith and commenced writing on the subject of the human organs, hands, feet, eyes, nose, tongue, and their corresponding sins. Moreover, what it means to appreciate them and how to express true gratitude for them. For this purpose, I began collecting the relevant Ahadeeth. Approximately 13 pages of the book were completed with help from the unseen and Hazrat’s prayers before my world was turned upside down, hence this tranquil and serene task could not be undertaken in those circumstances. My transgressions are a hindrance at every step. Alhamdulillah, the prescriptive litanies are nevertheless consistent and are a source of great comfort.
