Volume 1 Letter 154
From: Hazrat Moulana Yusuf Motala Sahib
To: Hazrat Moulana Abdur– Raheem Motala Sahib
Date: 19th Jamadi–ul–Thani 1389/ 1 September 1969
To my dearest brother Molvi Abdur–Raheem may your effulgence be extended.
After the Sunnah greetings, I have forwarded several letters before today, Allah willing they will have reached you. I have been most perturbed since learning about the severity of the illness. Allah willing that it is not before long that I learn of your recovery. Yesterday (in the letter) I overlooked the last portion of Molvi Abdul–Hafeez’ dream. Namely, whilst greeting Hazrat in the first row of prayers, he sees that spontaneously he has transformed into you, he wondered how it is you grew old so quickly and how you came to be present there when you had already returned home.
Allah willing that you attain a swift and enduring recovery. This lowly–one is in excellent health. I received the tablets from Doctor Bashir–Uddin and acquired much benefit. I am left disappointed that I could not contribute toward a wedding gift for Gora Mota’s sons Babu, I had determind to, but failed to remember at the last minute.
Hazrat conveyed to Abul–Hasan to dispatch a half carton of dates for Molvi Ismail and myself. I shall dispatch the dates as well as some cloth, Allah willing they should reach you. It has been three or four days since Sufi Ji was taken ill and is unable to attend the Haram. Many of your friends and acquaintances send their Sunnah greetings, kindly accept them.
That is all. Salaam.
Lowly Yusuf
