Date: Zi’ Qa’da 1388/February 1969
After the sunnah greeting, despite my ailments and numerous commitments I look forward to news relating to the well-being of all three of you. It has been more than a week, nay more than ten days, yet there is no correspondence from any of you. Nonetheless, I received a letter from molvi Taqi; therein Molvi Gulam Muhammad entered his salutations and well-being. In reality, I required this letter to be sent to Hafiz Surati Sahib, however I am unacquainted with his address, hence I am sending it to your care, kindly forward it to him. Convey my sunnah greetings to dearest molvi Gulam Muhammad, and molvi Yusuf.
You may have learned that dearest Salman heralded the birth of a baby boy who summarily passed away. Molvi Ismail may already have conveyed to you the particulars. He was born on Monday 5 th Zi Qa’da at 3:55a.m and departed after 1week 9hours and 20 minutes in the afternoon at 1.15p.m the following Monday.
