Volume 1 Letter 110
From: Hazrat Sheikh-ul-Hadith Sahib (May his secret be sanctified)
To: Hazrat Moulana Yusuf Motala Sahib (May his lofty shadow be lengthened)
Date:23 rd Ramadhan 1388/13 th December 1968
After the sunnah greeting. I received your correspondence in yesterday’s mail. Dearest Abdur-Raheem stated it was hand written. I endeavoured to read it in both sun and shade but my weak eyesight hampered me. It was especially pleasing that you had hand written it. I welcome the good news of your recuperation. May Almighty Allah accord you an expeditious return to good health and vigour.
There is no rush to dispatch the shirt, I will no doubt keep it as a blessed item, you are well aware that these things are redundant to me. Dearest Abdur-Raheem received an air letter from Dearest Muhammad, that aside no envelope has been received that included any letter from your wife. Kindly advise her to write to you directly rather than to me, it will be mutually convenient. Kindly write to Haji Shafi Sahib and express your unreserved gratitude, further tell him that you were hampered writing with your hand, most people are acquainted with Gujerati there and few people are conversant with Urdu.
You previously penned with reference to changing your bandage on 28 th Ramadhan, however correspondence from Moulana Saeed Sahib arrived in today’s mail, and he mentioned that you are scheduled to change the bandage on the 25 th of Ramadhan. May Allah facilitate you, in that the bandage is changed promptly and accord you swift recuperation. Furthermore, he wrote in relation to your somewhat obtuse doctor who became incensed on not receiving his fees. I propose you notify Moulana Saeed Sahib, tell him not to hesitate in any way and to pay the relevant amount. There will be persons returning from here to Rander after Ramadhan, I will send whatever amount you care to request. Repay me whenever you have it, and if you do not pay, I shall not ask for it neither. Kindly write to your good-wife, I am far more concerned about this issue than you are.
That is all. Salaam
Hazrat Sheikh-ul-Hadith Sahib
Dictated to Abdur-Raheem
23rd Ramadhan 1388
This lowly one sends his sunnah greeting and request for supplication.
