Volume 1 Letter 107
From: Unknown
To: Hazrat Moulana Yusuf Motala Sahib (May his shadow be lengthened)
Honourable and esteemed brother Yusuf and colleagues
After the sunnah greeting, I thought of writing to you ever since I heard of your imminent arrival, but I have been unable to do so because of Ramadhan. Brother Abdur-Raheem has returned safely. News of your accident took the wind out of my sails, I swear that I cried and prayed for you profusely. Subsequently, on learning of your safe return Hazrat Wala was thrilled and told me that upon Yusuf’s return to Saharanpur I intend to distribute plenteous amounts of sweetmeats.
At present, Hazrat Wala’s health is satisfactory; Hazrat prays for you assiduously and recalls you frequently. What more can I write. I left my post prior to Ramadhan to present myself in Hazrat’s service and plan to stay until 10 th Shawwal. May God enable us to meet before long. Hazrat Wala, Brother Abdur-Raheem, and Abdul-Hafeez send their sunnah greetings. Kindly send a prompt reply. Salutations to our sister.
