Volume 1 Letter 100
From: Hazrat
Sheikh-ul-Hadith Sahib (May his secret be sanctified)
To: Al-Haj Muhammad
Yakub Sahib, Bombay
Date: 4th
Ramadhan 1388/ 24th November 1968
Most honourable and gracious Muhammad Yakub sahib, may your
effulgence become far-reaching.
After the sunnah greeting. Today, at 12o’clock I received
the letter you sent on 23rd which gave me immense pleasure. May
Almighty Allah accord you an excellent reward. In yesterday’s mail, I received Dearest
Yusuf’s letter from Dubai written 28th
Sha'baan, he writes on arriving in Bombay,
and as soon as he has purchased a ticket, he will send a telegram. However,
this lowly one has repeatedly directed dearest Abdur-Raheem, both verbally and
in writing that until dearest Yusuf’s arm has adequately healed, you do not
have permission to return to Saharanpur.
It is very cold here and the hospital facilities are inadequate, we send our
sick to Delhi.
I am informed that the Hospital in Surat
specialises in these types of injuries, with excellent facilities. Upon
receiving this letter should dearest Yusuf and Abdur-Raheem be at hand, kindly
request them to continue and inform me as to their wellbeing; however, do not attempt
to return back here.
Haji Zamzami Sahib arrived from the onset of Ramadhan; he
will depart for Delhi either today or tomorrow, a seat is
reserved for Sunday from Delhi to Bombay.
This useless one prays for you assiduously, for your relentless efforts day in
day out may Almighty Allah accord you that which is fitting to his eminence and
majesty. If it is expedient then communicate my salutations. This useless one
prays for him also.
That is all. Salaam
Hazrat Sheikh-ul-Hadith Sahib
